THE PERSON BEHIND YOUR WEDDING

Meet Guillaume, your french wedding planner

A man with a beard and short hair, wearing a white button-up shirt and beige pants, standing outside on a gravel pathway with a rope swing behind him. In the background is an old building with beige walls, small windows, and a tiled roof, surrounded by greenery and trees.

Planning a wedding in France from abroad is a leap of trust.
It means handing over the details of one of the most important days of your life to someone you may never meet in person before the day itself. I understand that, and I take it seriously.

ABOUT BEYOND THE PINES

The person behind your wedding

I'm based in Biarritz, on the Atlantic coast of south-west France, and I plan weddings across the entire South of France. The Basque Country, with its unique blend of coastal drama and mountain scenery, is my home ground. But my work extends to Provence, Bordeaux, the Landes, the Gers, Toulouse, and the Côte d'Azur, wherever a couple falls in love with a setting.

I'm fully bilingual in French and English. That matters more than it might seem. It means that when I negotiate with a caterer, brief a florist, or read through a venue contract, I'm doing so in the right language, with the nuance and cultural understanding that comes with true fluency.
For international couples planning a wedding in France, this removes one of the biggest sources of stress from the process.

What I've come to understand is that the couples who are happiest on their wedding day are those who were able to trust someone completely : to hand over the logistics and simply live the experience.

That's what I'm here for.

OUR VISION

What guides every wedding

A bride and groom sitting outdoors, smiling and holding papers, with a green fence and trees in the background.

01

Modern

Nothing dated or predictable. No wilting flower walls, no script-font signage, no moments that feel borrowed from someone else's wedding. Every design decision is considered against what's right for you : today, in 2026, in the setting you've chosen.

02

Elevated

Quality at every touchpoint. Not necessarily expensive, but considered. The difference between a wedding that feels luxurious and one that merely costs a lot is in the details that most guests won't consciously notice, but will feel throughout the day.

People gathered outside a stone church dressed in colorful traditional Indian attire, with some wearing pink veils and others in blue and green sarees, under a clear blue sky.

03

Intentional

Every decision made for a reason: your reason. No filler. No default choices. No vendor selected because it's the easiest option. Each element of your day should be there because it genuinely serves your vision, your guests, and the experience you want to create.

THE BALANCE APPROACH

Budget built around your priorities, not convention.

Most couples overspend on venue and photography, then realise too late they have little left for florals, lighting, or entertainment: one breathtaking element surrounded by compromises.

I work differently. From our very first conversation, I establish a budget allocation built around your priorities. Music, florals, the venue: whatever matters most to you shapes how every euro is spent.

The goal is always a wedding where every element feels considered: no weak link, no moment that feels underdone compared to the rest. This is what I mean by balance.

And it's the thing I find most satisfying to get right.

WERE WE WORK

From the Atlantic coast
to the heart of Provence.

Pays Basque & Landes

The Basque Country offers a unique combination of Atlantic coast, Pyrenean foothills, and a distinct architectural and culinary identity. From glamorous Biarritz to the rolling countryside of Arbonne and Arcangues: this is Guillaume's home ground and the region he knows most deeply.

Provence & Côte d'Azur

Sun-drenched and timeless, Provence is the most requested destination for international couples dreaming of France. Lavender fields, historic bastides, and golden light that photographers dream of. We plan weddings across the region, from intimate garden ceremonies to grand château receptions.

La Bastide de Laurence · Château de Tourreau · Château Robernier · Château de la Gaude

Bordeaux, Gers & Toulouse

Vineyard châteaux, Gascon countryside, and the vibrant cities of Bordeaux and Toulouse. This sweep of south-west France is rich with extraordinary venues: from elegant wine estates to historic manor houses surrounded by sunflower fields.
